Dlouhou dobu se věnoval amaterskému divadlu a byl důležitým členem sboru SHnHOK. Po delší době si ovšem uvědomil, že film je tím pravým, kde by se mohl realizovat. Popravdě řečeno neměl moc na výběr 
. Jinak rád vaří, hraje golf, cestuje a nemá děti.

Jinak od mládí se věnoval filmu i divadlu a ve vedlejších rolí hrál například v díle "Dva z jednoho města", což byla několika dílná sportovně rodinná sága. Hrál i v moha dalších představeních a tak bylo jen logické, že díky svému technickým dovednostem zakotvil v organizačním výboru filmového fetivalu.
